    We are looking to add an Assistant Service Manager to our team.  The Service Manager is responsible for timely dispatch and close of all regional work orders.  They are responsible to dispatch all work for the following day no later than 4:00 PM of the current day.  They are responsible for follow up contact with the customer, both externally with Store Managers and internally with Project Managers.  The Service Manager is responsible to assist the Senior Service Manager with overall management of all regional sub-contractors and technicians to include hiring, terminations, and performance evaluations.  They are responsible to provide final instructions to the sub-contractor and technician, including estimated travel time, estimated work time, materials, equipment needs, and customer reporting requirements.  They are responsible for the efficient dispatching of sub-contractors and technicians to minimize travel time and to provide sub-contractor and technician with enough direction to complete work in one day whenever possible.  They are responsible for follow up with the sub-contractors and technicians to ensure timely response and completion of all work orders and projects.  They are responsible for IVR and time sheet review on a daily basis.  They are responsible for review of all invoices including quoted projects.  They are required to escalate to the Senior Service Managers and Project Managers when needed.



    • Receives and reviews work orders
    • Dispatches and closes all work orders
    • Communicates with both external and internal customers providing instructions to the technicians, estimated travel time, estimated work time, material and equipment needs, and customer reporting requirements
    • Provides follow up with sub-contractors and technicians to provide timely responses and completion of all work orders
    • Communicates with sub-contractors and technicians while on-site on any potential issues with work orders
    • Assists sub-contractor and technicians in troubleshooting over the phone
    • Reviews Dispatch reports throughout the day
    • Places work orders in the correct status
    • Reviews IVR and time sheets daily
    • Reviews all invoices and quoted projects
    • Other Duties as assigned


    • 4+ years experience in a high-volume electrical, lighting, plumbing, and/or HVAC service industry
    • Some project management/coordination experience
    • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
    • Ability to multitask using several screens and browsers while talking on the phone and navigating the system
    • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely manner
    • Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit, and effectively communicate work order instructions
    • Ability to create, edit, and analyze Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files, and Power Point presentations
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
