    The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing projects and business relationships with assigned accounts, exceeding customer’s expectations.


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Oversee projects associated with assigned Global 1000 accounts, including but not limited to new development, community management, internal and external communication, support, and maintenance issues.
    • Actively stays involved with each key customer account and provides accurate updates customers
    • Manages the growth and retention of assigned accounts
    • Sets-up customer orientation meetings with internal departments
    • Develops Service Level Agreement documents
    • Provides updates on current work orders, scheduling of technicians, parts on order, or any potential delays in completion
    • Submits work order quotes and follow up with appropriate approvals and questions
    • Follows-up on current customer jobs to make sure they are completed to the customer’s satisfaction
    • Identifies cost savings opportunities for customers by analyzing type and frequency of work orders
    • Conducts monthly visits to assigned customers including field visits to inspect the service level of their work orders and projects
    • Handles all escalated calls and researches the problem to determine what issues may be affecting the customer. Replies to customer and relays any relevant information
    • Conducts monthly audits of quotes and invoices to ensure they are in compliance with the customer’s requirements
    • Generates weekly reports on old calls, current calls, and pending customer approvals
    • Generates various monthly customer reports
    • Works in conjunction with the Rogers Electric Support Center, Dispatchers and Service Managers on a daily basis to help support customers
    • Works with the Accounting Department on any billing issues and ensures that customers are invoiced in a timely manner
    • Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts. Manage ongoing conference calls and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts. Provide regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts progress for all project areas.
    • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
    • Other duties as assigned


    Experience, Skill, and Educational Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent and five to seven years proven success in high-tech account management.
    • 2-5 years experience as an account manager, product manager or project leader in an online commerce or supply chain venue.
    • 2-5 years in a Sales or Sales support role in online commerce.
    • Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Project, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS and Netscape Web Browsers, or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Knowledge of EDI and Business Application systems and terminology, XML, HTML, and Internet protocols and security. Americans with Disability Specifications
