    JOB SUMMARY: The Lighting Project Manager is responsible for the planning, direction, execution and completion of all aspects of assigned projects.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Works closely with other team members at all levels in meeting the deliverables of assigned projects.
    • Monitors and controls assigned projects with thorough daily communication with on-site contacts to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget; anticipates and investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures.
    • Plans and organizes the support of key field positions. These include installation crews, Project Coordinators and Project Assistants.
    • Clearly sets expectations with team members to meet the goals and timeline for assigned projects.
    • Some overnight travel to ensure quality and meet customer commitments will be required.
    • Travel may vary from once a month to multiple times in the same month.
    • No weekend work required.
    • Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
    • Initiates and maintains relationships with customers to facilitate Lighting Project activities.
    • Participation in project meetings internally and with customers is required.
    • Manages financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest.
    • Other duties as assigned


    Experience, Skill, and Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree and / or at least 5 years of previous experience in project management, electrical construction or design. Previous experience in Lighting and / or Electrical is a plus.
    • An ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
    • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activities
    • Ability to communicate both verbally and thorough writing in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner
    • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional manner
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
    • Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit and analyze data for trend analysis to improve performance.
    • Ability to create, navigate, search and update Rogers Electric’s systems (work orders, reports, quotes, invoices, emails, databases, Etc.)
