    JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for coordinating the activities in the Accounts Receivable department.


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the full billing and collection cycle for multiple customers; communicates with clients to ensure billing is received, accepted, and processed for payment.
    • Compiles, formats and transmits billings according to specific clients’ requirements
    • Processes, reviews and tracks general ledger posting of draws for multiple projects
    • Identifies and resolves billing and collection issues.
    • Communicates with internal staff to facilitate resolution
    • Maintains lien waivers from contractors and vendors
    • Processes contracts as requested by customers
    • Provides internal and external reporting to management and customers, as required

    Experience, Skill, and Educational Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration; or 1-2 years of previous accounting experience required; Construction AR experience preferred
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
    • Ability to communicate both verbally and thorough writing in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner
    • Ability to provide exceptional customer service skills
    • Ability to multitask
    • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional manner
    • Ability to create, edit and analyze Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files and Power Point presentations
    • Ability to provide keen attention to detail
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
